Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OnKeiDo’s website, attending OnKeiDo Evenings, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

Eligibility

OnKeiDo is available to individuals who are at least 21 years of age. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

Membership

Access to OnKeiDo is by invitation only. Invite codes grant membership for a specified number of OnKeiDo Evenings. Membership is personal and non-transferable. We reserve the right to revoke membership at our discretion for violation of these terms or our code of conduct.

OnKeiDo Evenings

OnKeiDo Evenings are structured dating events with the following expectations:

  • Respectful conduct: treat all members, hosts, and venue staff with courtesy and respect at all times.
  • Genuine participation: engage authentically in conversation rounds. OnKeiDo is designed to detect chemistry through real interaction, not performance.
  • Consent: respect other members’ boundaries. Any form of harassment, intimidation, or unwelcome contact is grounds for immediate removal and membership revocation.
  • Sobriety: OnKeiDo Evenings are held at venues that may serve alcohol. Intoxication that disrupts the event or other members’ experience is grounds for removal.
  • Confidentiality: conversations during OnKeiDo Evenings are private. Do not record, photograph, or share details of other members’ conversations without their explicit consent.

AI-Assisted Matching Intelligence

OnKeiDo uses artificial intelligence as an integral part of the service to improve your experience and the quality of introductions. AI processing is used for the following purposes:

  • Voice Debrief analysis: processing your post-event voice reflections to understand preferences and experiences.
  • Brief generation: creating your personalized post-event intelligence report (the OnKeiDo Brief).
  • Interaction quality assessments: evaluating conversation dynamics to refine future introductions.
  • Profile updates: incorporating new information into your member profile to improve match accuracy over time.
  • Matchmaker conversations: powering the conversational interface that helps you explore your preferences.
  • Match recommendations: generating and refining pairing decisions for OnKeiDo Evenings.

AI processing is integral to the service. Because matching intelligence is central to how OnKeiDo works, you cannot opt out of all AI processing and continue to use the service. Specific optional features (such as Conversation Insights, described below) can be individually enabled or disabled.

Anonymization and privacy safeguards. Before any data is sent to external AI providers, personally identifiable information is removed. Members are assigned randomized pseudonyms that change with every request, so no external provider can build a profile across interactions. OnKeiDo employs multiple overlapping safeguards including pseudonymization, provider rotation, voice alteration, and zero data retention agreements with all external AI providers.

No anonymization method is mathematically guaranteed. While OnKeiDo implements robust, layered protections, we acknowledge that no anonymization technique can provide an absolute guarantee against re-identification in all conceivable circumstances. Our approach is to make re-identification as difficult as possible through multiple independent safeguards rather than relying on any single method.

External AI providers. OnKeiDo contracts with external AI providers under zero data retention policies. These providers are contractually prohibited from retaining, logging, or using your data for model training. OnKeiDo rotates among multiple providers to further reduce any single provider’s exposure to member data. In the event that an external provider breaches its zero data retention commitment, OnKeiDo is not liable for that breach but will remove the provider from service and notify affected members if required by applicable law.

AI output accuracy. Content generated by AI, including the OnKeiDo Brief and match recommendations, may contain inaccuracies. OnKeiDo reviews AI-generated content but does not guarantee its accuracy or completeness. AI-generated insights are intended as informational aids and should not be treated as the sole basis for significant personal decisions.

Voice alteration. When voice data is processed, acoustic characteristics are altered before speech-to-text conversion. This alteration preserves the content of what was said while modifying how the voice sounds. The alteration method varies randomly across processing requests. Voice alteration significantly reduces but does not entirely eliminate the possibility of speaker identification from processed audio.

On-Device Conversation Analysis (Conversation Insights)

Members with an Enhanced Intelligence membership may enable a feature called Conversation Insights. This feature performs on-device analysis of conversations during OnKeiDo Evenings to improve the quality of interaction assessments and future match recommendations.

By enabling Conversation Insights, you grant OnKeiDo permission to:

  1. Activate your device’s microphone during conversation rounds.
  2. Process audio in a temporary buffer on your device. Audio is not recorded, stored, or transmitted. The buffer exists only during active processing and is discarded when the conversation round ends.
  3. Perform on-device speaker separation. Temporary speaker characteristics are computed locally and discarded on-device once separation is complete. No voiceprint or speaker model leaves your device.
  4. Transmit an approximately 500-byte numerical summary of conversation dynamics to OnKeiDo’s servers. This summary contains statistical measures only and cannot be used to reconstruct the conversation or identify speakers.
  5. Use the transmitted data for interaction quality assessment and match improvement.

You can disable Conversation Insights at any time through your profile settings. Disabling this feature does not affect your ability to attend OnKeiDo Evenings or receive the OnKeiDo Brief.

Bilateral consent requirement. Conversation Insights data is only collected when both members in a conversation round have the feature enabled. If either member has Conversation Insights disabled, neither device activates the feature for that round. Members are not informed of their conversation partner’s Conversation Insights setting. If you have the feature enabled but no data is collected during a particular round, you should not draw conclusions about your partner’s settings from that fact.

The bilateral consent requirement is an OnKeiDo policy, not merely a technical limitation. It reflects our commitment to ensuring that conversation analysis only occurs when all parties have affirmatively chosen to participate.

Observation and Data

OnKeiDo Evenings include structured observation by trained hosts. By attending, you consent to host observation of conversation dynamics as described in our Privacy Policy. You may adjust your consent preferences at any time through your profile settings, though baseline observation is required for event participation.

SMS Notifications

OnKeiDo offers optional SMS notifications for event reminders, post-event report availability, and account updates. By opting in to SMS during registration, you consent to receive these messages from OnKeiDo at the phone number you provide. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of membership or purchase.

  • Message frequency: varies depending on your event schedule and account activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation and no further SMS messages.

The OnKeiDo Brief

After each Evening, OnKeiDo generates a personalized intelligence report (the “Brief”) based on event data. The Brief is for your personal use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit Brief content. The analytical methods, matching intelligence, and report format are proprietary to OnKeiDo.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, matching algorithms, report formats, and technology comprising the OnKeiDo platform are the exclusive property of OnKeiDo. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our service.

Limitation of Liability

OnKeiDo provides a curated introduction service. We do not guarantee compatibility, romantic outcomes, or the conduct of other members. OnKeiDo is not liable for any damages arising from interactions between members, whether during or after OnKeiDo Evenings. You attend events and interact with other members at your own risk.

Without limiting the foregoing, OnKeiDo is not liable for:

  1. Any inaccuracy, error, or omission in AI-generated content, including the OnKeiDo Brief, match recommendations, and interaction assessments.
  2. Decisions you make based on AI-generated content provided through the service.
  3. Unauthorized retention of data by an external AI provider in violation of that provider’s zero data retention agreement with OnKeiDo.
  4. Re-identification of anonymized or pseudonymized data by any third party, whether through the actions of an external provider or otherwise.

Disclaimers

Our services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the platform. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of OnKeiDo services shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
